The following cases were heard tonight by an independent operational rules tribunal (HH Peter Charlesworth, Neil Turley, Jon Hamer);
Greg Bird (Catalans Dragons) - the player unsuccessfully appealed a Grade D Dangerous Contact charge. The panel felt the previous grading was correct and that the 4 match ban should stand. The club also forfeit a £500 appeal bond.
Taulima Tautai (Wigan Warriors) - Pleaded guilty to and was found guilty of a Grade D Dangerous Contact charge. The player has received a 4 match ban and £500 fine
Maurice Blair (Hull Kingston Rovers) - Pleaded guilty but challenged the grading of a Grade D Other Contrary Behaviour charge. The player was found guilty but the charge was downgraded to Grade C and he receives a 2 match ban and £500 fine.
